The Goal
The Stratoscope team has been the lead Security Consultant for University of Alabama Athletics going on three years. The Tide Athletics department first engaged our team to design a plan to add metal detection / guest screening for Bryant Denny stadium in 2018.
The Challenge
The task to screen 100,000 fans at a facility opened in 1929 was a significant task. Our team developed a design to meet specific design objectives working with Alabama Athletics, University PD and other partners.

The Results
The overall effort resulted in a very successful deployment of the guest screening in 2019, two years prior to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) mandate to implement guest screening. Our team continues to work with Alabama Athletics on various safety, security and risk related projects.
