Events and Venues Face New Challenges to Safety, Security

As face-to-face events return in full force, organizers and venues are assessing additional new risks, like potential disruptive behavior, that can make their events feel less safe and welcoming.
Dan Donovan, founder and managing partner of event security company Stratoscope, said current times call for being more “diligent as we bring people together, regardless of what type of event it is.” He cited geopolitical divisions and disgruntled employees as causes for concern and emphasized the need for having the right people to mitigate these challenges.
